Summer Lookbook: Kurtas

As you can tell by the title, this post is about simple summer kurta looks. And because my love for minimal fashion is premium, the following looks are very much inspired by it and implemented using the concept of home photography.

So, if you’re like me and love minimal fashion or just want to get some ideas on styling your next simple kurta for summer, you’ve come to the right place.

All the looks revolve around the most generic piece found in every Indian girls’ wardrobe: White Palazzo

The Oh-So-Simple Look

For the first look, I went with a very simple White Straight Pattern Kurta and paired it with my staple White Palazzo.

The Lady In Red Look

For the second look, I went with one of my favourite Straight Cut Cotton Red Kurta. I don’t usually wear bold colours like red but the combination with white is a giant YES for me. The material is 100% cotton which is exactly what you need for feeling comfortable and fabulous at the same time. Honestly, I have lost track of how many times I’ve worn this kurta.

I got this from a very sketchy site, they messed up my orders and I learnt my lesson. So, I would recommend you to get it from the usuals. You can also consider these options.

The Sunflower Vibe Look

For the final look I went for an easy breezy Short Light Yellow Cotton Kurta. The first thing that made me fall in love with this kurta was the colour and how effortlessly you could dress it up or down. I decided to pair it with a white dupatta because why not, if not your taste you could totally exclude the dupatta. You do you boo.

It is by the brand Pink Almirah. I got in my local mall, you can also look for similar options. As for the dupatta, I borrowed it from my Mum but you could go for something similar in here.
