The year 2020, gave and took a lot from us. Same goes for the fashion department, we saw few of the old trends come back but with a twist of its own and today we’ll be talking about one such trend- The Mini Handbags. So, without boring you any longer; let’s dive right into it.
A little History!
The late 1990s and early 2000s were all about the little shoulder bag. The Baguette concept was basically a small, streamlined bag, carried on a short strap, that could be adapted for different looks, colours and textures while still having a consistent aesthetic designed by Fendi in 1997. Popularized on the famous sitcom Sex and the City.

Fast Forward to 2020
Look what we’ve got- Yes, it’s the Baguette(not the bread). It all started with Jacquemus featuring the famous Le Chiquito Mini Bag in the Paris Fashion Week show in February 2019.
In this blogpost, I will be sharing with you some of the ways I like to style the Mini Handbags.
“Going To Class” Look

- Pants: Flared Jeans (comfort+style)
- Footwear: Performax (colour-grey; because minimalist enthusiast)
- Bag: Mini Handbag (the star of the show)

- Hair: Little Front Braids (cutesy vibe)

“A Chill Day Out” Look
